Compliance with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC

Furse ESP products are currently exempt from the requirements of RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC as they are not Electrical & Electronic Equipment (EEE) as defined in Article 3, (paragraph a) ie they do not require electricity to perform their primary function of surge protection.

We are currently in the process of marking all shipments as 'RoHS Exempt' on all external packaging. However, even though this is the case, we are committed to providing products that are environmentally acceptable and, to this end, we are working towards our products being compliant with the requirements of RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.

Whilst most of our products will be compliant by the required directive date of 1 July 2006, it is anticipated that full compliance of all products will be achieved by the end of September 2006.

As individual products become compliant, the marking we place on them will change to state 'RoHS Compliant' on all external packaging.

If you have any questions, please contact us using the enquiry form which can be found HERE
