Let us help you to understand how the new British Standard for Lightning Protection will affect you!
The new British standard BS EN 62305 for protection against lightning will replace
BS 6651 in September 2008. Currently the two standards are running in parallel with one another and therefore our information on BS 6651 and software produced for this standard can still be used at this time.
This new standard has a significant impact on all those involved in the design and installation of lightning protection on structures.
At Furse, we are able to offer you a whole range of services to help you understand the implications, the best practices for implementation and compliant products. And importantly, being based in the United Kingdom, these are swiftly available to you.
We have a simplified Standards Guide to help highlight and clarify the major issues within the standard.
Our StrikeRisk Software v4.0 should prove invaluable to those of you involved in risk assessment calculations.
